The Freshmen Lady Raiders avenged an season opening defeat by besting Heritage 30-13 on the Pride's home court.  The team improved to 8-3 overall with the win over a non district foe. Against Dulles District teams, the squad is 6-1.  Stephanie Schulze led all scorers with 14 points and Chanelle Starks added 8.  Sierra Jackson contributed 5.  Megan Sullivan and Emma Brown also scored.  Amber Reinecke and Hanna Thaler led the defense which produced 10 steals.

The Freshmen lady raiders squandered a large half time lead and lost 30-29 to Broad Run. It was the first loss to a district foe for the team. Chanelle Starks had 12 points and 12 steals and Stephanie Schulze had 11 points. Amour Alexandre and Sierra Jackson also scored. Emma Brown led the rebounding efforts with 6 boards.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders started the second half of the season with a win over Briar Woods 42-20. The team record is now 6-3 and 5-1 against district opponents.Chanelle Starks led a balanced scoring effort with 12 points while Stephanie Schulze and Sierra Jackson added 10 each. Nia Farmer had a solid shooting effort with 6 points and Amour Alexandre had 4.

The Freshmen lady raiders improved to 7-3 (6-1 in the district) by defeating Freedom27-21. Chanelle Starks had another of her type of “double doubles” with 18 points and 13 steals!! Stephanie Schulze, Amour Alexandre and Nia Farmer also scored. Megan Sullivan was aggressive on defense and Amber Reinecke recorded 6 boards.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders won their 4th in a row to remain undefeated against Dulles district opponents by besting Dominion 53-10.  The team is now 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the district.
Mila Buscavage and Stephanie Schulze led a balanced attack with 10 points each.  Sierra Jackson, Hanna Thaler and Chanelle Starks each had 6 points.  Amour Alexandre, Megan Sullivan and Amber Reinecke each had 4 and Nia Farmer added 3.  Emma Brown recorded 4 assists in a great team win.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders improved to 5-1 overall defeating Potomac Falls 41-9.  The team is undefeated against district opponents. Stephanie Schulze led the way with a season high 19 points.  Chanelle Starks had 6 points and 4 steals.  Amour Alexandre had 4 points.  Sierra Jackson, Emma Brown, Megan Sullivan, Hanna Thaler and Nia Farmer also scored.  Mila Buscavage had 5 steals and Amber Reinecke contributed 3 assists.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders saw their 5 game winning streak come to an end at the hands of non-district foe Loudoun Valley 41-21.  The team could not overcome a poor shooting night along with a sub-par rebounding effort.  The team is now 5-2. Chanelle Starks had 8 points and 5 steals. Sierra Jackson had 5 points and Stephanie Schulze had 4 points.  Emma Brown and Amber Reinecke also scored. Amour Alexandre recorded 3 steals.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders lost their home opener to Heritage 25-15.  Sierra Jackson had 7 points and Chanelle Starks had 4.  Stephanie Schulze, Megan Sullivan and Mila Buscavage also scored.  Amour Alexandre had 5 rebounds.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders evened their record at 1-1 with a 38-12 victory over Skyline.  Stephanie Schulze led all scorers with 11 points.  Mila Buscavage had 7, Amber Reinecke had 6.  Sierra Jackson, Emma Brown and Chanelle Starks each added 4 points.    Nia Farmer also scored. Chanelle Starks also had 6 steals.  Amour Alexandre contributed 3 assists.  Hanna Thaler and Megan Sullivann did very well on defense.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders won their first district contest defeating Briar Woods 35-15.  The team is now 2-1. Stephanie Schulze led all scorers with 16.  Sierra Jackson had 7, Mila Buscavage and Amber Reinecke each had 4.  Nia Farmer and Emma Brown also scored.  Chanelle Starks had 3 steals.  Amour Alexandre, Megan Sullivan and Hanna Thaler each recorded multiple assists.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders defeated Freedom 31-27.  The team is now 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the district.  Stephanie Schulze led the way with a game high 13 points and 11 rebounds.  Sierra Jackson and Chanelle Starks each scored 6.  Amour Alexandre had 4 points and Mila Buscavage also scored.  Chanelle Starks had 5 steals and converted two of them into baskets to give the Raiders the half time lead, a lead they kept the rest of the game.  Megan Sullivan and Emma Brown rebounded well and Hanna Thaler was solid on defense.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders won their season finale by defeating Leesburg rival Heritage 26-23.  The team concluded the season with a 6-8 record against Dulles district rivals and a 7-10 record overall.

Carly Machlan had 8 points and 10 rebounds.  Carol Decker had 7 points including a clutch 3 pointer and 12 boards.   Sarah Olivero also had 7 points and Janai Mitchell added 4.  Kirstin Tegler, Pooja Eagala and Ifey Onuorah were solid on defense and Dalis Watkins turned in a strong rebounding effort.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders turned in their best effort of the season and defeated Freedom 38-31. Sarah Olivero had a "double-double" with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Carol Decker had 8 points and 11 rebounds while Carly Machlan had 7 points and 13 rebounds. Kirstin Tegler turned in a gutty performance with 6 points and Janai Mitchell had 4. Dalsi Watkins was solid on defense and Ifey Onuorah rebounded well.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders lost to Briar Woods 38-30. Carol Decker led the team with 11 points. Carly Machlan had 4 points and 12 rebounds. Kirstin Tegler, Janai Mitchell and Dalis Watkins also scored 4 points each. sarah Olivero also scored and Ifey Onuorah was solid on defense.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders lost a heartbreaker to Broad Run 34-32. Janai Mitchell had a season high scoring effort with 15 points. Sarah Olivero and Carol Decker each added 5 points. Carly Machlan had 4 points and 8 rebounds. Kirstin Tegler also scored.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders defeated Potomac Falls 31-23. Carly Machlan led the way with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Balanced scoring was provided by Sarah Olivero, Carol Decker, Janai Mitchell and Dalis Watkins with each scoring 5 points. Kirstin Tegler also scored. Ifey Onuorah turned in a solid rebounding effort and Pooja Eagala played well on defense. The team is now 4-6 against Dulles District teams and 5-8 overall.

The Freshmen Lady Raiders were in another nail biter but were able to secure the 24-23 victory over Dominion.  Janai Mitchell had two three pointers to lead the team with 10 points.  She also had 7 rebounds and 4 steals.  Sarah Olivero had 5 points.  Kirstin Tegler added 4 points and Carol Decker had 3.  Carly Machlan also scored and had a season high 13 rebounds.  Pooja Eagala and Dalis Watkins rebounded well and Ifey Onuorah contributed on defense for an outstanding total team win.
